The thing is, I think that if Ahsoka worked with Maul, it wouldn’t be in a master-apprentice relationship, but more a temporary alliance. If Maul had said that Sidious was Palpatine before he said anything about Anakin, I think Ahsoka could have relayed that to the council before Anakin informed them and Episode 3 would’ve potentially ended very differently as Yoda and Mace would likely have been on Coruscant to arrest Palpatine.
