With this original concept art from Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens, we can see a sketch of Luke Skywalker with his green lightsaber. This shows us, I think, that JJ Abrams had ideas to put this in the film in some way, which leads me to believe that he would have had Luke use his green lightsaber in Episode 8, and hopefully…episode 9 Rise of Skywalker. I hope we will still see it even thought Rian Johnson killed Luke Skywalker off.
