Plot Summary (No Major Spoilers)
Count Dooku sends General Grievous to conquer the jungle planet of Katou as a chance to prove his worth to his Sith masters. The local herdsmen fall easily to the mechanized Separatist leader, but when Jedi Knight Cardiff Baye and a battalion of clone troopers arrive to defend the planet, Grievous shifts to a stealthier, predatory approach in the dense alien wilderness.
The story becomes a tense cat-and-mouse game through the jungle, blending action, horror-tinged stalking sequences, and some exploration of Grievous’s identity and role early in the Clone Wars (set roughly 22–20 BBY, before Phase II clone armor). It pits Grievous’s brute strength and tactical cunning against the Jedi’s faith in the Force and his troops, while touching on themes like power, monstrosity, and self-perception. Reviews describe Grievous as a terrifying, relentless predator in this tale, with elements that feel like a strong Clone Wars episode arc.
