Every Name Obi-Wan Saw on the Wall in the Jedi Safehouse 1

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 3 released, and Kenobi spotted some OMINOUS names on the wall in the Jedi safehouse. What do they mean? Watch to find out!

1. So at number one we have Quinlan Vos. Quinlan Vos was already confirmed to be a survivor of the Jedi purge in the Darth Vader 2017 comics, after Vader and the Grand Inquisitor compiled a list of top priority jedi targets. On this list were many familliar faces like Oppo Rancisis, Yoda and Coleman Kcaj, but one of those Names was Quinlan Vos. In Legends, Vos had one of the most brutal and heart wrenching survival stories ever, where he was left deep in the Jungles Of Kashyyyk during Order 66. His Clone Commander Faie absolutely hated him throughout the whole war, even before Order 66, so he didn’t even need to the inhibitor chip to want to kill Quinlan. Commander Faie pretty much shot Vos point blank in the chest, but the Jedi Managed to survive and return to his wife, and newly born child. How his new story will go in still unknown, but I’m sure it’s going to be an incredibly journey for him, and he might even have a role to play in the Bad Batch. Cid says she has regular contact with a Jedi for missions and other little jobs, so that’s probably also Quinlan Vos. Maybe he was even the one who rescued Grogu.

2. At Number two we have an extremely interesting reveal, and one that even ties back into Episode 2, Valin Halcyon. Now Valin Halycon is a huge character from Star Wars: Legends who was the son of a Jedi Master and himself was trained the Jedi ways… Although it was never made public that his own father was his Jedi Master. At the very young age of only 10 years old, Valin’s father left him to fight in the Clone Wars before the young boy could finish his Jedi training. Sadly, Valin’s father was then killed very shortly after the Clone Wars, and in order to hide her son’s identiy, Valin’s mother married a man named Rostek Horn and changer Valin’s name to Vallin Horn. After that however, Vallin changed his name to Hal Horn, to honor his original family name… Now this is really interesting because Hal Horn is the father of Corran Horn, another absolutely huge character from Star Wars Legends who served as a Jedi Master and pilot in Rogue Squardon. According to the credits for Episode 2 of the Kenobi show, the young boy who was taken to see the fake Jedi Haja Estree was named Corran, and his mother was named Nyche. This matches up perfectly with the character of Corran Horn from Star Wars Legends, and now Hal Horn, which had his name written on the wall… Lucasfilm are clearly building up to something, and maybe this is a breadcrumb trail being left for us before the Rogue Squadron Film directed by Patty Jenkins, whenever that is actually happening.

3. At number 3 we have Caleb Dume. Caleb Dume was the original name of Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus, who served as the master of Ezra Bridger. During Order 66, Caleb was sitting with his Master, Depa Bilaba and their Clone Troopers at a campfire, laughing and telling stories. Unfortunately however, at this exact moment, their clone commander Grey got the call to execute Order 66 directly from Palpatine, who even called him by name, and they turned on the two Jedi. Caleb’s master shouted out for him to run as fast as he could, promising that she would be right behind him, but that was a lie… She died moments later to the blaster fire of her own men, all to save the life of her Padawan. Caleb then fled to a nearby planet and was taken in by a scoundrel before finally changing his name to Kanan Jarrus, to stay hidden. 4. Now at Number 4 we have another pretty renowned name in the Star Wars Legends timeline, Djin Altis. Djin Altis was a member of the Jedi Order who served during the time of the Clone Wars. He served as the head of an offshoot group of Jedi known as the Altisian Jedi, who didn’t follow the rules and directives of the Jedi Council, but still served the Republic. After rising through the ranks of the regular Jedi Order, Djin Altis began to view the Jedi code in a different way to the council. He believed that individuals of any age could become Jedi, not just very young ones and that Masters should be able to take on many Padawans. In essence, he wanted the Jedi’s numbers to flourish, rather than remain at a small amount, distant from the rest of the galaxy. His beliefs on the force powers allowed by the Jedi also differed signficantly. Despite being banned by the council, Altis taught his students the ability to preserve their conciousness after death by transferring it to an inanimate object. If you’ve read the Darth Vader comics and know about Darth Momin, this is the Dark Side force ability that allows Sith to become force ghosts.
