Some BREAKING Obi-Wan Kenobi show updates! The Darth Revan connection with the 3rd sister is mindblowing.
Now this news just came in right as I was recording so this is actually breaking. There are now reports stating that the the inquistor played by Moses Ingram, the Third sister actually has a name. And that name is HUGELY connected to the Old Republic and character we all love. That being Reva. A Clear connection to Darth Revan.
According to this breaking report, Reva will be the most brutal inquisitor we’ve ever seen, chopping hands off civilians and just generally trying to prove herself to Darth Vader. Just like all other inquisitors she was a former member of the Jedi order herself and turned on them in the dying moments of the Clone Wars. Apparently we’ll even go as far as to see an Order 66 flashback scene showing how Reva betrayed the Jedi order, im guessing inside of the Jedi temple. If that ends up being true, she might end up being the one who stole Grogu from the Jedi temple, along with Barriss Offee. If that is the case, Barriss Could be an inquisitor, just like so many of us have speculated. I have a full video about the Grogu bariss Offee theory which you can see in the pinned comment or end cards.
And after that, back on to the original stories- we also got news that Yoda himself will be appearing the Obi-Wan series. The word is that Frank Oz will be playing Yoda and that the two will be communing via the force, just as you’d expect. We already know from the current Canon that they did communicate many times in their exile so this is definitely fitting well into that.
Now for the final piece of news, we have reports that Obi-Wan will be fighting Darth Vader not once, but twice in the series. This is absolutely huge and both are likely to be on the same level as the Mustafar Showdown in Revenge of the Sith. If you had any concerns about them fighting before A New Hope because of the lines Said by Vader, well thats going to be shattered. I definitely think it can be done in a way that doesn’t break anything, and i’m very excited to see where it goes
The report also says that the young Leia will be played by Vivien Lyra Blair who you can see on screen now and it seems to be backed up by a few sources.
Really interestingly, it appears that the Grand Inquisitor will be the man behind this kidnapping plot, masterminding the operation and pulling the strings. We know from a few days ago that he will be played by Rupert Friend. The Grand Inquisitor does this because he knows of Obi-Wan’s connection to the Organa family and hopes to lure him out. After hearing of the situation, a deeply panicked Bail Organa then rushes away from Alderaan to Tatooine and enters Obi-Wan’s quarters, to beg him for help. Surprisingly, Obi-Wan doesn’t yet appear to have his hut. Instead he will be hiding out in a cave, in pretty horrid conditions. After Obi-Wan arrived on Tatooine at the end of Revenge of the Sith, he had nothing. No money, no connections and no where to stay, so he’s doing his best to survive by rummaging through old and dark caves.
After this, Kenobi of course accepts the mission from Bail and travels to the spice den via public transport, just like Din Djarin did in the Book of Boba Fett, when he arrive on Tatooine. Because that was also Tatooine, you can probably bet that will be the exact same transport. Definitely a nice little connection there if that does end up happening.
