In today’s Star Wars news update, we look at a tease for the Book of Boba Fett and how we might see Grogu (or Baby Yoda) in the upcoming series which is part of Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau’s Mando-verse with the Mandalorian Season 3 and the Ahsoka Tano Series. Rangers of the New Republic was also part of the list but after Gina Carano was fired, it’s now been put on hold. If Grogu does appear, it’ll be alongside Luke Skywalker who Boba Fett had runs ins with in Return of the Jedi and in War of the Bounty Hunters comic series.
Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand are the stars of the Book of Boba Fett and it comes out in December following the Bad Batch and Star Wars: Visions. We also talk about JJ Abrams who directed the Force Awakens and The Rise of Skywalker. He recently spoke with Collider about the failures of the Sequel trilogy and how they weren’t properly planned. Kathleen Kennedy brought him in at the last minute after firing Colin Trevorrow who wrote the original Episode 9 Duel of the Fates. Finally, we look at Fennec Shand and how Omega in the Bad Batch reflects Grogu’s role in the Mandalorian!
