In today’s Star Wars news, we talk about a huge tease for Boba Fett for upcoming episodes of the Bad Batch. In the Bad Batch Episode 3 Ending, Lama Su talked about creating super clones similar to Jango Fett – while some people point to the Star Wars theory of force-sensitive clones like Starkiller, it might be referring to Boba Fett himself. Since The Book of Boba Fett comes out in December and Fennec Shand will appear in both shows, Dave Filoni might be trying to tie the two in a backstory arc for the Clone Wars spin-off. We also explore a theory about Omega, Wrecker and more!
The episode ‘Replacements’ had easter eggs to the Mandalorian, The Empire Strikes Back with Han Solo, Leia, Luke Skywalker and Yoda. There was a lot to unpack with Crosshair who might be redeemed and so much dynamic between Hunter and Omega. We have worries for Wrecker. Crosshair is in conflict with the stormtroopers who will replace the clone troopers in the upcoming Kaminoan Uprising! Tarkin and Rampart were also big parts of this episode.
The series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. The show will give us a new perspective of the rise of Palpatine, Order 66 and what happened after the Clone Wars. The show will even feature Ming-Na Wen’s Fennec Shand and Captain Rex – maybe even Ahsoka Tano or Darth Vader! The Bad Batch is one of the many series announced by Kathleen Kennedy at Disney Investor Day 2020 as well as The Mandalorian Season 3, Star Wars: Ahsoka, Rangers of the New Republic, Lando, Cassian Andor and the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
