In this Star Wars news update, we talk about The Bad Batch and how Ahsoka Tano is rumored to be back with Captain Rex after Ashley Eckstein is reported to have completed voice work for the Clone Wars spin-off. We last saw Ahsoka in the Clone Wars Season 7 finale after Order 66. Recently, Kevin Kiner revealed that the Bad Batch will be at least 14 episodes long! Star Wars The Bad Batch Official Trailer dropped recently! It drops on Disney+ on May 4th with Star Wars Visions coming in October and The Book of Boba Fett in December! The Mandalorian Season 3 drops in 2022 according to Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni!
The series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch — a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army — each possess a singular exceptional skill, which makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew. In the post-Clone War era, they will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find new purpose. The show will give us a new perspective of the rise of Palpatine, Order 66 and what happened after the Clone Wars. The show will even feature Ming-Na Wen’s Fennec Shand! We see Saw Gerrera, Grand Moff Tarkin and Kamino!
