The Mandalorian Season 2 is over and the Book of Boba Fett drops December 2021 on Disney+ with the Mandalorian Season 3 coming out in 2022, according to Lucasfilm, Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau! The Bad Batch is released on Star Wars Day – May 4th 2021! In this Star Wars news update, we talk about Sebastian Stan who has finally spoken out about rumors that he will play a live-action Luke Skywalker in the Mandalorian Season 3 and even in the upcoming spin-offs such as Star Wars: Ahsoka, The Book of Boba Fett, Rangers of the New Republic etc. After a de-aged and CGI Mark Hamill appeared in the Mandalorian Season 2 finale Chapter 16 «The Rescue» when he came to save Grogu (Baby Yoda) from Moff Gideon and the Dark Troopers taking him away from Din Djarin (Mando – Pedro Pascal), many Star Wars fans have wondered if we will see Luke in Season 3 of the live-action Star Wars, Lucasfilm and Disney+ show. Filoni and Favreau haven’t said anything yet and we just have to wait and see… In the meantime, we have three projects this year that were announced in December at Disney Investor Day 2020 by Kathleen Kennedy.
